Wow. That was quite the ride. I really felt like Aaron and Xander were my actual family. Your cutscenes are incredible, too. I also felt like I got to see how a father and son interacts together, and it was an experience. Aaron is a sweetheart, and Xander is my baby. I don't think any games compare to yours. I know that you're a writer, and it shows in your games. I love your writing. Anyway, I'll be looking forward to any updates to Back To The Past, as well!

Thank you so much! Yeah, I do a LOT of writing, and your comment genuinely made my day. I've wanted to make more VN games but I have to think of the right plots... and find time. Lol. Thanks so much for giving the games a shot and enjoying the ride. :)

a fun, short spooky vn (has the nostalgic vibes of old flash games like those made back then in 2000s or few years ago I played) with natural realistic interactions/dynamic where Aaron the father isn't like the neglectful or abusive kind despite being the tired, hard-working type he makes me love him instead, and Xander well he's not outright a jerk emo, i think of him like this important young brother (I think there's two ends where you can straight up be a nanny who just cares about doing her job, though i only had the heart and will to go for the good end only, i love the found family trope). i think even if this is the first vn, it's already pretty good on pulling my interest in, especially for the narrative aspect. i don't encounter any bugs, but there are some things that do bug me for a bit like the color of Xander's jacket that doesn't really blend well with his sprite, the kitchen background that doesn't fit like the other realistic BGs, the backlog with white colored text almost unreadable, the skip feature that can't skip only texts that has been read, and the recording without subtitle.

Thanks for the feedback! I do plan to come back to this someday and give it a total revising whenever I have time (and more practice using Tyranobuilder). It was definitely experimental, just to see if I could put something together, but your feedback is very helpful, and I'm glad you liked the story! Thanks so much!
